Tomlinson named VP

CONCORD, N.H. – March 17, 2010 – The Business and Industry Association – New Hampshire’s statewide chamber of commerce and leading business advocate – has named Katherine Tomlinson vice president. She was previously the association’s membership director.

In her new role as vice president, Tomlinson, who resides in Hopkinton, will continue to oversee and manage the BIA’s membership development efforts. She is also responsible for the association’s Capitol Connect program, an affiliate membership program of the BIA open to businesses of 10 or fewer employees who are members of participating chambers of commerce.

Before coming to the BIA, Tomlinson worked six years for former U.S. Rep. Charlie Bass, directing constituent relations for his four district offices. Prior to that, she worked as finance director for the Republication State Committee. A New Hampshire native, Tomlinson is a graduate of Western New England College with a degree in finance.
