Ellison elected PAC chair
CONCORD, N.H. – March 17, 2010 – Attorney Scott Ellison was recently elected chair of the New Hampshire Business Political Action Committee, the political action committee of the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire. Ellison succeeds Richard Ashooh, vice president of government relations for BAE Systems, who held the position of chair since the PAC’s inception in 2006. Previously, Ellison served as the PAC’s treasurer. Ellison is a partner in the Manchester-based
law firm of Cook Little Rosenblatt and Manson, where he practices business law.
The New Hampshire Business PAC is a nonpartisan political action committee that supports fiscally conservative and pro-business candidates in state elections. The New Hampshire Business PAC works for the election of state legislators who understand and appreciate that business is the engine of economic growth, prosperity and job creation.
The PAC was active in the 2006 and 2008 election cycles and the recent special elections in state Senate districts 3 and 16. Since its inception, the New Hampshire Business PAC has contributed more than $23,000 to candidates of both major political parties. The New Hampshire Business PAC will also be active in the 2010 election cycle.
